Age of Wushu is Snail Games' active wuxia MMORPG set in a stylized Ming-dynasty Jianghu. It replaces fixed classes with martial schools and learned skill sets, supported by Qinggong movement, life professions, guild conflict and open-world intrigue.
Characters join a martial school rather than choosing a rigid class, then can collect internal skills and external forms from multiple sources. That structure supports unusually personal combinations of weapons, movement and combat techniques.
Combat uses a rock-paper-scissors relationship among overt attacks, defensive blocks and feints, rewarding prediction instead of pure rotation speed. Qinggong abilities add wall running, gliding and water movement to travel and pursuit.
Offline characters can remain visible as workers or kidnapping targets, while spying, escorting, guild wars and school politics make other players part of the world. Craft and life skills offer social identities outside combat.

Things to consider
Age of Wushu has accumulated many progression layers, currencies and veteran advantages since its Western launch. Internal skills and high-end equipment require long cultivation, making competitive catch-up difficult without events or spending.
Open PvP, kidnapping and faction rivalry can create memorable stories but also expose new players to disruption they did not request. Server population and time zone strongly affect whether these systems feel alive or predatory.
Age of Wushu, Europe’s former Age of Wulin, Age of Wushu Dynasty and upcoming sequels are separate products. Verify the Snail PC service before using a guide or purchasing currency, because account and system details are not interchangeable.
