Browser strategy MMO

Star Colony

StarColony was a free-to-play, Flash-based browser sci-fi strategy MMO from Elyland LLC, in which players built and defended a colony on the planet Terra Sperata against the alien Swarm, the mysterious Ancients, and rival human colonizers, later expanding to a second planet, Etter Syra. As a Flash-dependent title, it went offline around Adobe's discontinuation of Flash Player at the start of 2021, with no HTML5 port released.

Why you might like it

  • Fans of Flash-era browser strategy MMOs built around base-building and clan alliances against both AI and other players.
Before you play

Things to consider

  • As a Flash-based game, StarColony became unplayable once Adobe ended Flash Player support in early 2021, and no client or HTML5 remake followed.
  • Don't confuse this with the unrelated 2026 Steam indie title also called Star Colony, a single-player incremental resource-management game by a different, much later developer.
